Jay Russ
Born in Newark New Jersey in 1960 Jay, a product of a dysfunctional alcoholic family, used his inquisitive nature for how things worked and would spend his days taking apart radios, bicycles and eventually cars. His abusive childhood led him to a lifetime of anxiety and depression for which he uses his art to combat. His sculptures are made out of found object and hand hammered copper. He currently works out of his studio in New Jersey.
